Ayur means life or life spam. Veda means science or pure knowledge. Based on different factors, one’s life can be fulfilled or unfulfilled, nourishing or non-nourishing. The science that covers a full spectrum of factors that can make life healthy, fulfilled and nourishing and that affects the quality of life, is called Ayurveda. Ayurveda is based on the knowledge of the 5 elements space, air, water, fire and earth. From these 5 elements 3 bio energies are defined: Vata (space, air) Pitta (fire, water), Kapha (earth, water). With Vata, Pitta and Kapha you can determine your personal type according to Ayurveda.
According to Ayurveda, the personal health of a person depends on the knowledge of her/his personal Dosha type, a restful deep sleep and a diet and lifestyle adapted to one’s digestive fire.
My job is to determine your current personal Dosha type based on a detailed anamnesis, including tongue and pulse diagnostics, to look at ways of balancing the Doshas and to look for suitable adjustments for everyday life, free time and diet.
